Project Source work with a number of Trusts delivering validation services, enabling trusts to report accurately, providing data correction and quality assurance. We have established teams of  staff with experience of most PAS systems and specialties. Our teams can include a supervisor to manage the team, provide audit on their performance and to feedback any recurrent data issues.

All of our validation staff undertake our own Advanced RTT training prior to placement to ensure they have the requisite knowledge of 18 weeks RTT and the application of the National Clock rules.

All of our training courses are available as web-based learning packages enabling delegates to access them anywhere online. Users can dictate the pace of learning; completing and returning to modules at their leisure. Our courses can help ensure your staff have a full understanding of 18 Weeks RTT and are able to make the correct decisions when capturing data.

Each course has an assessment and certification to provide reassurance that your staff have achieved the required level of competence.

Project Source offers on site classroom training for groups of delegates. Our training is tailored based on the degree of understanding that needs to be achieved. From an Introduction to 18 Weeks RTT for staff who need to have an overview of the target to Advanced 18 Weeks RTT for all levels of staff involved in the recording of 18 week information.

We also offer 18 Weeks RTT Data Management training for staff involved in the validation of 18 weeks data or in the management of the PTL.

The PTL is a central tool in the management of patients’ RTT pathways, informing specialty leads in their prioritisation and of the demands on your services. Often data issues mean the PTL is unreliable and presents an inaccurate picture of patients’ waiting times.

We can perform an analysis of your PTL to identify cohorts of patients where there are indications that data quality or process gaps may exist. We also provide audit of the results of validations in order to understand where the real issues lie; identifying training requirements or process issues which need to be addressed.

Due to our success and ongoing projects we offer a unique RTT Helpdesk service which enables existing teams and clients to benefit from our RTT expertise.

The service is accessed via our RTT Query logging system enabling us to identify the correct resource to help you. One of the team will respond with the guidance or information you require to ensure your patients’ data is captured accurately. As well as enabling us to provide timely support, the logging system is fully auditable and we can provide you with feedback on its usage and highlight any areas requiring further support.

Our team of consultants combine over 30 years NHS experience, and have expertise in performance data management and 18 weeks RTT since its inception.

As well 18 weeks RTT we have extensive knowledge of all NHS & Unify reporting; Commissioning, Clinical & Central Returns, Administrative and Supporting Data Sets. As such we are able to offer our support in many other areas.
